Excellent - spotlessly clean, good breakfast, very welcoming host.

We loved our stay at Chadwick Guesthouse, it was great to have a sink in the room, the beds were clean and comfortable and there was lots of storage space. The free breakfast was also amazing. Claudio was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall a peaceful and pleasant stay, thank you! :)

Absolutely loved my staff at the Chadwick Guest House. Had everything I needed. Gorgeous interior, and really liked all the extra touches. Would definitely stay again, really good location for me to get to the Riverside Stadium (only 20 minute walk). Gorgeous park next to the accommodation. The gentleman that checked me in and did breakfast was lovely, think he was the manager. Would highly recommend this lovely guest house.

I have stayed here twice now and will definitely be returning rooms are clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities. The host Claudio is is helpful and informative the breakfast was lovely good choice of cereals juices and full english.5*

I WILL CERTAINLY USE THIS GUESTHOUSE AGAIN. THE LOCATION IS CONVENIENT AND QUIET. MY ROOM WAS A DECENT SIZE AND THE BED VERY COMFORTABLE. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS NO ENSUITE THE NEARBY SHOWER ROOM WAS EXCELLENT AND THERE WAS A HANDBASIN IN THE BEDROOM.BREAKFAST WAS MORE THAN ADEQUATE AND THE PROPRIETORS VERY WELCOMING AND PLEASANT.

Words can't describe how clean this place was.claudio was a perfect gentleman.Unbelievable host, Unbelievable breakfast. The twin room was perfect. Cozy room and the shower was second time none. The host even went out of his way to get Special K for my son. Great value for money. It's not every guest house I leave a tip but this deserved it.

My third time. Good breakfast, spacious room. None of the furniture or surface coverings are black/dark as in many chain hotels so the chances of leaving stuff behind, as you glance around before leaving is less.

A very well kept and clean guest house which is decorated tastefully and thoughtful. Breakfast was superb and Claudio was a lovely man. Only thing that let’s it down is it’s not, and because of the layout of the building likely to be, en-suite and has a shared bathroom otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. A great place to stay for a business trip but bare in mind there is very little to do in the area.

Travelling alone & needing one nights accommodation I found the Chadwick Guest House was an ideal choice, ideally situated just outside town it is a walkable distance from the railway station, although I didn't have a car there appeared to be available parking at the front. Great breakfast & owner Claudio was very helpful.

I think this I would regard as the best place to stay in Middlesborough. Although ofcourse I haven't stayed everywhere but on the basis of my search I think it is great value for money.Absolutely clean and fabulous.It is just 4 minutes from the James Cook, so perfect for people who are visiting hospital.Claudio is a great and very kind person. He provided us with. a free upgrade and provided full servies.I really enjoyed my stay.I would also suggest direct booking rather booking.com as it is cheaper and no difference in services

I stayed here 4 1/2 weeks, for work. Everything was very good. The landlord was very helpful and friendly. Good on street parking. I would definitely stay here again.

As a female travelling alone I was very happy with my stay here. Room was comfortable and bathroom facilities were more than adequate for sharing with other guests. Property is exceptionally well presented and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Rooms are clean, breakfast is good.The rooms have a washbasin but are not en-suite.If you can live with that, for the price it is superb value for money.

We were staying in Middlesbrough for a concert and chose to stay at the Chadwick. We were met by Claudio who is so lovely and keeps you up dated to any changes or is available for any help with phone numbers etc at any time. The room was big, bright and comfortable. And breakfast was really tasty! It is also walking distance from the stadium and the town centre too.We had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Claudio keeps an extremely clean, tidy and well presented B&B.Always polite and always flexible with booking-in times.You wont find better.Stayed many times and will no doubt stay many more times again in the future.

My Daughter and I stayed at Chadwick Guest House 27th May 23 for 1 night.. got to to say it was a lovely stay,Our room was big, with loads of space to put our clothes etc.. the owner/ manager was really nice and very polite.. and as for the Breakfast we couldn't fault it, he told us it was scrambled eggs, but we don't like them, so he kindly did us fried eggs instead, it was a large breakfast, we couldnt eat it all..All in All we had a lovely stay and if we're ever in Middlesbrough again we would go back to Chadwick Guest House, if we could score them it would be 10 out of 10..Thankyou

This B and B was such good value, the room was excellent, all you would want , the owner was so helpful, accommodating my pushbike ----really good, in some areas you would pay a lot ore of such quality.

It was an excellent guest house for our purpose. We only stayed one night but were made very welcome. It suited us because we were going to the football which wasn't too far away. It was very reasonably priced with a very good full Englishbreakfast.

For a very reasonably priced BnB you really could t ask for more. Comfortable clean rooms and facilities, a fabulous cooked breakfast and Claudio is an exceptional host. 5min cab into the town centre and train station. Definitely recommend.

I stayed one weekday night in Feb whilst working at the University. I arrived about 8pm and was met by the owner who showed me to my room and where everything was. He explained breakfast and timings and was generally very helpful. The room was clean, warm and sufficient for my requirements. The area was quiet and I had a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was tasty and ample and set me up for the day. I will certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone working at the Uni

Our stay at Chadwick House was great. Our ground floor room was large and spotlessly clean and had a private bathroom a few steps down the hall. Beds were very comfortable. Claudio, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Chadwick House is not very far from the centre of Middlesborough and parking was available at the side of the house. I would definitely recommend this guest house and willstay there again in the future when we visit our Grandson.

Great place to stat for events at The Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough. Nice breakfast on a morning with a lovely view across to the wetland on Clairville Green. One minute walk to the beautiful Albert Park.

Well maintained, quiet and clean. I had to leave my wife for a few hours whislst I sat my exam, the owner was kind enough to offer us to keep the room until late with no extra vost. Breakfast was good too, quantity was more than expected.

I stayed for over 3 weeks and throughout the place was always so neat, smelling fresh. The English breakfast was so mouth watering with variety of cereals to choose from.. The host Claudius ( sorry if I spelt that wrong) was always so polite and nice no matter the request. I will definitely come again some day

Feels like staying in your aunt's spare room, in a good way. Bathroom is not en suite, beds are not 'luxury hotel' level, but everything spotlessly clean, breakfast very well cooked, personal/homely service and ambience. Am likely to be making a number of trips to Middlesbrough and will be booking here again.

A good place to stay in Middlesbrough. Room was compact but adequate, with generous amounts of tea/coffee available in the room. Breakfast hours a bit restricted, but a good cooked breakfast available. Public transport, pubs, shops and a huge park all within a short walk with lots of restaurants etc. in nearby Linthorpe Road.

Could not fault the Chadwick, we received a warm welcome upon arrival the room was very clean and comfortable with a decent breakfast provided the following morning, the location was excellent for us with a relaxed 20 min. walk to the Riverside Stadium for our Killers concert, free parking was provided out on the front of the guest house.

Claudio runs a very clean, well organised guest house. I stayed for 6 nights in late May.Excellent cooked breakfast was provided, and plenty of car parking was available. My single room had a fitted basin, with shared facilities (Shower room and toilet).However, I did not find sharing to be a problem. Highly recommended and I would stay there again.

I stayed for two nights and had a large room and private bathroom. It was absolutely clean place and I really enjoyed my stay. Claudio, the hotel owner is really hospitable and provided anything I asked for. I highly recommend this place. It was beyond my expectations.

Nice bed and breakfast, upon arrival the owner helped me carry my bag up the stairs, which was a nice touch. The accommodation was very clean, in my room there was 2 beds, one was hard and one was soft, not sure if that was intentional but after an hour in the hard I checked the other bed out and fell asleep fast. Now the breakfast which was a full English is where the place really shined, the first day I left my toast and beans as I am diabetic and I stay away from carbs, I never said anything to the owner, but the next day he said to me I will leave the beans off and toast and give you extra bacon and sausage, because he noticed I left them the day earlier, this seriously impressed me, what an eye for detail. I will be back there at some point, seriously recommend and a very fair price.

This is a nice guesthouse with a very helpful and friendly owner. The decor and furnishings in my room were a bit dated but the shower room and other rooms looked very smart. I felt safe there as a solo female traveler. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast very nice.

I stayed at Chadwick for 4nights. The owner Claudio was very kind and helpful. The check in and check out process was very quick. The room was clean and breakfast was good.I was walking to train station from the guesthouse for 25mins. It was easy to walk from the guesthouse. Overall I am very haply with my stay and would definitely come back in future.

Claudio was an attentive and cheerful host! Pros - Breakfast portions were ample and delicious with choice of cereals, jams and drinks. Secure parking to rear (check with owner first). Extra parking to side and front. Rooms were renovated, thoroughly clean and each had their own personal touch making the stay warm and inviting. Cons - Though we were on the upper level to the side of the house, traffic was rather busy at night, however it's nothing some added glazing can't sort out.

The area is quite and relaxing. All kind of shops are available in the area. In addition to big shopping centre just 15 min walking or 3 min by car. The place was really clean and tidy with a clean private bathroom and toilet. Wifi and tv are available. The host is really kind, friendly and helpful. Multiple car hiring companies are operating within the are you can get any where you like with an affordable price.

I stayed for a night at the Chadwick hotel with my partner, we booked a twin room which was on the ground floor. The room was clean and tidy, however it was located next to the staff kitchen and office which was fine overnight but it made using our bathroom a little awkward due to its location next to the office. Despite this, we worked around it and showered overnight. Breakfast was nice and the right amount of food. Owner was friendly and helpful, we were given a parking permit for overnight so the car could be left on the road which was really good. Overall a clean hotel, quiet overnight and slept well. The only downside was the location of our room.

Was coming to the area on a course. Have stayed here previously. The place is clean and tidy. The rooms are big enough to relax in and also to study. The covid-19 precautions are evident and you have a private bathroom now. The breakfast was good. I'll be staying there again in 5 years ????

I travelled up on my own for a show at the Westgarth Social Club.Accommodation is exactly as described - clean, tidy, comfortable and of a decent quality - and an easy walk from the venue.Free wifi is also provided.One minor point to note was that my room had a sink but wasn't fully en suite, which I wasn't expecting.This wasn't a huge problem as the bathroom / toilet were easily accessed from my room, and it was also a false assumption on my part, but is still probably something to be aware of as most places I've stayed nowadays are en suite.The breakfast was tasty and well cooked, all in all a good place to stay and I'll definitely consider it again if I need to be in Middlesbrough again

Needed somewhere quick to stay and this was it! Not invasive, very friendly and provided breakfast! Close to the uni too & very convenient & cheap. Would go again!

The Chadwick is a really nice B&B. Very clean and tidy in a good location.The owner is really friendly and helpful.Parking is on the street but the owner provides a residents pass to display in your windscreen.I informed the B&B that I am vegan and was given soya milk and had a cooked option at breakfast too.Everything about the place was clean and tidy with the tea and coffee being replenished each morning.Booking in was quick and easy.Will definitely stay there again the next time we are in 'Boro.

I stayed in a twin room with private bathroom as a treat for my six year old daughter's birthday. Claudio was an excellent host, very welcoming and friendly. The choice available for breakfast was amazing. Lovely cold buffet and a cooked breakfast as well. For the price everything on offer was fantastic. Would highly recommend the Chadwick and I have booked another weekend in March for myself and my eldest daughter for her birthday.

Me and my mum had a wonderful time at Chadwick Guest House. The owner was consistently very helpful and polite, the free breakfast was great, everything was very clean (including the bathrooms - there are two showers). The location is also very good, it’s right beside a field behind which is a nice big park. It is also a 15min walk from the high street. Hard to say something bad about this place; will definitely be returning here should we stay in Middlesbrough again. Highly recommended.

This Guest house is well run by its efficient host. Check-in was quick and painless, being that I was checking in after 7.30, I received a quick phone call and was met at the door by Claudio at the time I said I would be there, my room was large and roomy and the bed comfy, and lovely and clean. it looked out on the park opposite which was nice. Being in a great location right on Albany Park, it is convenient for all the local amenities, including Linthorpe Road, with all the eateries and bars. The shared shower was powerful and hit the spot. My breakfast was delivered quickly and hit the spot in its deliciousness! Give Chadwick a try its great!

We stayed over on Tuesday to attend a family funeral on Wednesday and we couldn’t have asked for anything more from the owner Claudio.He arranged everything from the parking permit to an iron for us, and all super speedy.The price was excellent and we actually paid more and it felt right to as we were made so welcome.We stayed in the twin room, on the ground floor due to my disability, and it was fantastic.A lovely big room with excellent furniture - all genuine hardwood.The private bathroom looked brand new, all tiled with a massive shower cubicle.Claudio cooked breakfast the next morning and mine was lovely.My partner ordered poached eggs and they were spot on.The lounge and dining room were decorated to a high standard and everywhere was so comfortable.A lovely big house.We’re so glad we stayed here and we’re definitely going to book again.Looking forward to staying here again.

This is a nice place to stay considering the low price. The rooms are not en-suite, however there was never a wait for the toilet or bathroom. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Very nice hotel with super breakfast. Though you have to call first and wait for 5 minutes for keys, the shared bathroom and toilets are clean and it turned my impression about shared bathroom hotels. They are clean and solid, comfortable! Good Italian design!

I had the pleasure of staying with "Chadwick Guest House" for 2 nights. I arrived very late & the proprietor kindly waited up to let me in & show me to my room. Breakfast was very good with continental & Full English available. It is a very clean B&B.My single room was not en-suit but there are 2 toilets & showers on the landing which was fine.I will definitely use this guest house again as it is good value for money & the host is very obliging.

I stayed here for 4 nights as I was working in the area. It was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was excellent and my bed was really comfortable. My only issue is that it does not have ensuite facilities, the bathrooms were very clean but I would have preferred my own facilities.

We stayed at Chadwicks for 5 nights and had a very comfortable stay. We feel we were very well looked after: hot breakfast & housekeeping service everyday, and fast internet. Near the guest house are ALDI supermarket, a post office and restaurants. The guest house is not far from the city center where the bus terminal and the train station. We'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Middlesbrough.

My stay at Chadwick Guest House provided all that I could have asked for. Very clean with a hearty breakfast. I suggest agreeing an arrival time in advance as there may be no proprietor on site at certain hours of the day to let you in.

After spending the day biking up and down the North York Moors, the Chadwick was a very welcome destination just off the bike path in Middlesbrough as Claudio showed me where to store my bike and then showed me my immaculate and elegant room.The Wi-Fi code was already marked on a piece of paper and there was plenty of room to store my gear.There were two showers and another WC just down the hall and a lounge downstairs. The bed was very comfortable with good linens.Breakfast in the morning was copious and a great start for another day of biking.

I stayed two nights while attending a conference. The room was clean and well put together, with kettle and tea/coffee (definitely essentials!). Shower rooms were clean too, everything kept to a good standard. I didn't try the breakfast as I didn't have time, but I think it'd probably be good. The owner was friendly and helpful. Perfectly adequate stay, not luxurious but fulfills all needs.

Cant find fault with the place. Would sugest additional hand towel in bathroom (towels were provided in rooms but forgot to take it to bsthroom when only using tiolet)and perhaps some shower gel just for added comfort.

When choosing the Chadwick my main priorities where cost and proximity to Falck nuteck which is just a 12 minute drive away, not really expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation on offer for the money and Claudio whom i believe to be the owner is a very friendly and helpful,nice selection at breakfast too, next time I'm at Falck this will be my first choice .only one minor issue there is some noise from the road but I cansleep through most things so didn't cause me too many issues.

Very nice short stay The gaffer very pleasant an helpful.Hotel very clean,breakfast sufficient,tho more options could be added,as i for one hate beans, why not add tomatoes as a choice

The beds was big and the madrass was good. Nice and clean. Very near to the University and only 15 min walk to the City Center and a lot of shops. The breakfast on weekdays was homemade and very good, in the weekend it was cerial and toast and a lot of sweet cockies etc. I nice place to stay. Will be back in next year.

This is a great little bed abd breakfast which offer great value for money. Only problem for me was the distance from the rail station and no buses stopping nearby.The welcome was warm. The room was non en suite. The room benefitted from a new free view flat screen TV. I stayed at the weekend and the breakfast was a help yourself continental selection in the dining room; not the cooked breakfast I was expecting which I was told was only offerd during the week. £30 for single room what can you expect, other than a clean functional room.

Excellent for all my requirements: extremely helpful and flexible, clean, well-decorated rooms, and English breakfast.

This is the fourth time we havestayed in the Chadwicke since last September, as we have found it to be an ideal base when we have had to make visits to take our daughter to and from Teesside Uni. It is a good value for money Guest house with a friendly and welcoming staff, and we would definately consider staying again if we were in the area.
